For Groundskeepers:
- Groundskeepers do you want your field to look the best it can . We all know the two enemies to our job.....money and time. Maybe you just don't have enough money in your budget to do what you think needs to be done. Or maybe you just have too many games back to back and your field is not getting the attention it deserves because your time is cut so short. Well here we can help you with these problems. It's not always more time, or more money that needs to be spent to get your fields looking and acting like they should. It usually is the management of your time and little quick fixes inbetween games that keeps your field in top shape.
- Have you had a ball coming straight to a player on the infield and then suddenly takes a huge hop in a different direction? Does your field have lips (built up little mounds behind your skin area). We can help you solve this problem with little or no cost to you or your employer.
- Do your mounds/homeplates blow out. Are there sink holes where the pitcher steps, or where the batter stands. Most mounds and homeplate areas are clay. Usually this can be avoided quite easily.
- Do you get rainouts often? No matter what you do your fields just wont absorb the water. Or is your field so dry, that dust clouds are constantly kicking up from the players? There are easy ways to fix these problems.
- Do your base paths look straight? Are they wavey or look like they go from thick to thin? Easily fixable and doesn't cost a cent.
- What is the height you mow at? How often do you mow? Would you like to know how to get the patterns on your field?
- When do you water? How much water do you use? What time of day is the best time to water? How many times a day should you water?
