If you want a deeper green lawn that holds in moisture better........add a tablespoon of Dawn original dishsoap to a gallon of water and spray over lawn evenly (best if done early in the morning).
On a baseball field, to keep the skin area from drying out and getting hard, water down area every day, twice if possible. This will keep the dirt easy to manage and soft to play on.
Use soil conditioner (ex: turface) during and after rain this lessens rainouts.
Have wear areas on your field? Try throwing down grass seed before a game so the players cleats can work the seed into the soil.
